As much as Biden's win gives me hope for the future, the closeness bothers me. It shouldn't have been that close, given all that Trump stands for. That is very bad news for liberals. It means we will need record turnout every election from now until Trumpism is wiped from the country's zeitgeist. We have a long, long road ahead still before we are out of the woods.
